DVD88 - German Jets & V1 and V2 Flying Bombs
The assumption that the RAF's long-range reconnaissance aircraft, the Mosquito, could continue to employ its high speed to range across Germany with impunity, was shattered on 25th July, 1944.
A Mosquito, belonging to the No.544 squadron, barely escaped destruction after having been attacked in the first air-to-air encounter with the revolutionary new German fighter, the Messerschmitt Me-262.
The Me-262 represented the cutting edge of a new generation of highly advanced combat types, employing jet and rocket propulsion. Paralleling these aircraft types in the spring of 1945 were the first of Hitler's revenge weapons, the V-1 Flying Bomb and the advanced V-2 Rocket, that were intended to turn the tide of the war.
"This is the DVD we have all been waiting for!
"Fantastic films of these impressive weapons systems HE280 (the first jet), Me262 (the first operational jet), Me163 (the first operational rocket fighter), VI flying bomb and a long film on the V-2 ballistic missile including construction and deployment!"
They even tell the truth and destroy the Allied myth about Hitler and the Me262 controversy."
