Why watch propaganda movies, study nazi films and research WWII movies about Germany and Adolf Hitler?
If there is one person in history whose activities changed the world, that person would be the German leader or Fuhrer Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) who led Nazi Germany and its allies into World War II (1939-1945), by any measure, the most devastating war in history.
The National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) or Nazi Party 1920 - 1945 and its predecessor the German Workers' Party (DAP) 1919 - 1920 were founded under the ideology of "Blut und Boden" or Blood and Soil which focused on ethnicity based on, (Blood (of a folk)) and homeland/Heimat (Soil). It celebrated the relationship of a people to the land they occupy and cultivate, and it placed a high value on the virtues of rural living.
But why watch nazi films and WW2 movies about Adolf Hitler and Third Reich Germany? You may have been asked that question, like we have, repeatedly over the years. German government assaults FREE SPEECH world wide!
There is an air of urgency to obtaining your nazi movie collections. The German government in a classic Orwellian 1984 memory hole move is trying to stop the distribution of Third Reich films worldwide including the USA under the Uruguay Round Table agreements. This is a quote from one of their anti-American documents "...the responsible handling of nazi film heritage is very important. This is why we only make available such national socialist propaganda films to non-commercial sector and only under certain circumstances and conditions." We do not know how long into the future these nazi films, German newsreels, Third Reich propaganda films, and Hitler movies will be available for sale! It is for this reason that we strongly urge everyone to add to their historical nazi movie and nazi film collections ASAP before this FREEDOM OF SPEECH is taken away!

Grey Wolves U-Boats 1939 - 1941
Hitler Films / Nazi WW2 Movies Description
For Kapitaen zur See and Fuehrer der U-boote Karl Doenitz the outbreak of war between Germany and the United Kingdom in September 1939 found the submarine arm of the Kriegsmarine unready for conflict. Nevertheless, Doenitz's "Grey Wolves" were still able to inflict substantial losses on vessels carrying Britain's lifeblood.
The conflict widened after the occupation of France and its ports gave the submarines direct access to the Atlantic shipping lanes, which in turn led later to a larger arena.
This program depicts the course of the U-boat war in its initial phase in vivid images captured primarily by German cameramen with much being presented to the viewer for the first time.

DRAMATIC ORIGINAL GERMAN COMBAT MOVIES
For students of World War Two not particularly interested in submarines, "Grey Wolves", is nonetheless vital for their proper understanding of that conflict's prosecution and outcome. However, anyone more fascinated by undersea warfare will find this twin-volume set the most enthralling visual experience of its kind. This is no hyperbolic advertisement, but a statement of plain fact. If a single picture is worth a thousand words, than the wealth of images spread over the two hours of these combined vhs/dvds adds up to more than everything that has been written about Germany's u-boat arm from early 20th Century beginnings to its demise in 1945.
But "Grey Wolves" is not a standard re-telling of that silent service, as re-run for more than fifty years in pseudo-documentaries like NBC-Television's "Victory at Sea" or the BBC's "World at War". "Grey Wolves" differs radically from these self-evidently biased, woefully inaccurate portrayals, because it is a real history of the Third Reich's submarine fleet concerned only with facts instead of propaganda. As such, it is not a re-hash of official (and distorted) Allied versions of the past, but offers new and unconsidered information serious researchers must find enlightening, even eye-opening.
For example, we learn that the u-boats could have easily won the war for Germany in summer, 1940. They did not because preferential production was given to obsolete battleships instead. At the out-break of hostilities, the Kriegsmarine could only field a few dozen submarines armed with faulty torpedoes. When Churchill pulled back every available warship in the Royal Navy to defend England during the Battle of Britain, he left his convoys absolutely defenseless. Had the Germans been prepared to take advantage of this unique window of opportunity, they would have undoubtedly brought Winston to his knees before year's end. Until I saw "Grey Wolves", I never understood what Michael Kelly told me years ago, when he said that Admiral Raeder, the conservative head of the Kriegsmarine, lost World War Two for Germany.
The term, "Grey Wolves", was how Karl Doenitz, the u-boat chief, referred to his submarine crews, although no one is quite sure if he meant their grey-leather jackets or the hulls of their vessels. The visual panorama of "Grey Wolves" is as authentic as it is stunning, entirely made up as it is of mostly rare, original German newsreels, Kriegsmarine training film excerpts, and actual combat footage covering every conceivable aspect of u-boat life. Particularly outstanding are night attacks off the Florida coast, the undimmed lights of Miami melding eerily with the flames of a burning U.S. tanker. Scenes of long-range Luftwaffe bombers plastering Allied convoys in conjunction with the submarines are among the most unforgettable. Extraordinary is a long section showing the men aboard a u-boat during actual operations, including what it was like for them during a depth-charge barrage.
A more true-to-life recreation of the war under the sea has so far not been available to students of the past, no likely to be for a long time to come.
